UT Austin|Portugal Program students get together at FCT/UNL for orientation session

The 2009 Orientation Session for students was held on October 28th in Monte da Caparica.

The 2009 Orientation Session for the UT Austin|Portugal Program students happened on October 28th at the library auditorium of the FCT/UNL in Monte da Caparica.

With a large turnout of new and older students, the area Directors made a small update of the different areas of the Program  followed by each of the students making a brief presentation of their future research, goals and expected outcomes of their PhDs.

The students also had the opportunity to take a first look at their new space: Colab’s Media Ground. The Media Ground will be open soon to all the Program’s students so they can use it in their research and projects. It is located in building VII of the FCT/UNL, adjacent to the CoLab office.
