Natalie FentonDr. Natalie Fenton is Reader in the Department of Media and Communications in Goldsmiths College, the University of London. She also serves as Co-Director of the Goldsmiths Leverhulme Media Research Centre and Co-Director of the Goldsmiths Centre for the Study of Global Media and Democracy.

She is the author of New Media, Old News: Journalism and Democracy in the Digital Age (2009).

The FCSH digital media lecture series is intended to deepen the study of themes in CoLab's degree programs with the help of national and international experts on different subjects. The lectures are, however, open to the general public, in particular to the PhD and Master students in Communication Sciences.

The series will continue on May 14th with Daniel Rodowick of Harvard University on "Digital Cinema".
