Emerging Technologies seminar to highlight CoLab nanotechnology initiative

Brian Korgel of UT Austin and Paula Vilarinho of UAveiro will present a seminar on "Emerging Technologies in the UT Austin|Portugal CoLab" on Wednesday, May 14, at IST.

In addition to its longstanding work in Advanced Computing, Digital Media, and Mathematics, the UT Austin|Portugal CoLab has launched an initiative in Emerging Technologies with a focus on nanoscience and nanotechnology. The seminar will explore the opportunities it supports for research, study, and technology commercialization.

Brian Korgel is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Paula Vilarinho is a Professor in the Department of Materials and Ceramic Engineering at the University of Aveiro.
