Creative Industries Workshop 2010

The first annual Creative Industries Workshop (CIW2010) is scheduled to take place September 16-18 at U.Porto.

The University of Porto, the Catholic University of Portugal, the Agency for the Development of Creative Industries (ADDICT) and the UT Austin|Portugal Program are sponsors of the workshop.

An objective of the workshop is to lay the groundwork for a Creative Industries Network which will develop business-to-business strategic alliances among creative industries in mid-sized cities worldwide.

It is envisioned that the Creative industries Workshop will be held annually at different locations of network members.  CIW2011 is being planned to occur in Austin in March 2011, two days before the SXSW media conference and festival.
