António Câmara will discuss augmented reality in the lecture “Rosa Púrpura do Cairo ao Contrário” on Wednesday, February 24, in Auditorium II of FCSH/UNL (Av. De Berna 26) at 6pm.  His talk will be the first in a new monthly lecture series at FCSH.

The goal of the new monthly cycle of lectures on Digital Media is to deepen the study of themes in CoLab's degree programs with the help of national and international experts on different subjects. The lectures are, however, open to the general public, in particular to the PhD and Master students in Communication Sciences.

António Câmara, Director of the UT Austin|Portugal Program and CEO of YDreams, will begin the series. Other upcoming lectures in the series include:

Natalie Fenton (Goldsmiths, University Of London) on April 22nd on “New media, journalism and democracy”.

Daniel Rodowick (Harvard University) on May 14th on “Digital Cinema”.

Everyone is invited to attend.
