2014 CoLab Math conference

On May 29-31, 2014, the UT Austin|Portugal program in Mathematics will sponsor a three-day conference in Lisbon, "Progress in Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations."

Conference organizers are Irene Gamba of UT Austin, José Francisco Rodrigues of the University of Lisbon, and Henrik Shahgolian of KTH Stockholm.

The event is co-sponsored by the Centro de Matemática e Aplicações Fundamentais of the University of Lisbon (CMAF/UL) and the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).

Invited speakers include Luis Caffarelli and Alessio Figalli of UT Austin; João Paulo Dias and Stanislav Antontsev of the University of Lisbon; José Miguel Urbano of the University of Coimbra; and speakers from ten other countries. 

In honor of the 80th birthday of V.A. Solonnikov and N.N. Ultraseva, a special group of mathematicians from Russia will participate. 

Registration is free but the deadline to register is April 30.
