The UT “Corner” at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) is a new collaboration focused on research and faculty/student exchanges between UT Austin and INL, headquartered in Braga, Portugal. The primary purpose of UT@INL is to promote interdisciplinary research on nanotechnology and nanoscience. As a collaboration, UT@INL has the following objectives:
Program
As part of the Emerging Technologies program of the UT Austin|Portugal CoLab, UT Austin tenure-track faculty can now apply for funds to support research visits for PhD students or post-docs to INL to carry out collaborative research with an INL partner. To apply, faculty must fill out this application and submit the completed form to Brian Korgel.
These research grants are in support of the creation of a new UT@INL corner to promote researcher and faculty exchanges from UT Austin to INL to participate in research projects, internships, or attend/teach particular short courses.
Three types of awards will be supported:
There is no limit to the number of proposals that an individual faculty member can submit.
