Call for posters and demos to the 2017 Doctoral Symposium

The Call is now open until October 2nd for the Futureplaces DM Doctoral Symposium

As in previous years, the 10th edition of Futureplaces will include the Digital Media Doctoral Symposium, October 17 and 18. In order to offer an alternative for presenter’s eager to share their work through one-on-one discussion, the event will bring the Poster and Demo Session.

The submissions are due by October 2nd to the email address nmc@fct.unl.pt. For the participants presenting at the Doctoral Symposium, it is mandatory to provide a poster.

Poster

All posters must be submitted in English, to be done in A0 size, and must include participant name, address, email, phone number, affiliation, a brief explanation of needs, and the UT Austin | Portugal Program Logo (download here), Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia Logo (download here). The poster will be printed by the Program.

Demos

All demos must include participant name, address, email, phone number, affiliation, a brief explanation of needs, and the UT Austin | Portugal Program Logo (download here), Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia Logo (download here). Participants must provide own computer if one will be used in the presentation. Due to limited space, projectors may not be used during the poster presentation. 

Additional requirements

Each participant must send a one-page C.V. or resume and include a simple one- or two-page visual mock-up of the display (saved as a PDF).
