Emerging Technologies Meeting in Austin

Support for Emerging Technologies researchers to travel to Austin, September 14-15, 2015.

Dear colleague,

Within the American Partnership University of Texas (UT) Austin | FCT Portugal, International Collaboratory for Emerging Technologies, CoLab we are preparing a working meeting in Austin to foster the collaboration between US and Portuguese researchers within the area of Emerging Technologies.

The meeting will take place at UT Austin during 2 days, next September 14 and 15, and will be limited to a maximum number of 30 participants.

We are pleased to announce that we are able to finance the trip and stay (for the period of the meeting) to a couple of researchers.

If you are interested in participating and joining please send us (sebastian.zlotnik@ua.pt) your Intention to Participate until 21 June 2015 (see below), and the following information, since this will impact the decision on who will get the travel support:

1. your CV (full list of publications);
2. your R&D interests;
3. how your R&D activities relates with the aim of UT Austin | FCT Portugal Emerging Technologies program;
4. and let us know, if this will be the case, whom would you like to interact with at UT.

The important dates are:

• Intention to participate: 21 June 2015
• Selection notification: 19 July 2015
• Participation confirmation: 26 July 2015
• Meeting: 14 - 15 September 2015
